Owner of Hair by the Sea - Tracy Jones, purchased the hair salon on it's current site in August 2012. The new brand was designed to reflect the stunning seaside location near the Mana Boating Club and Porirua Harbour (Pauatahanui Inlet) and it's location to the vibrant Porirua basin.
Tracy originally worked alone until taking on Charlotte as an apprentice. Charlotte has now been with Hair by the Sea since 2014 and qualified in 2016. Charlotte is now an integral part of the salons ongoing success. Tracy employed Hannah as her next apprentice in 2019, with Hannah qualifying in 2022. Hannah has since proven herself to be a talented stylist. Imogen was then hired as an apprentice at Hair By The Sea in 2022. Imogen is currently an emerging stylist with a growing clientele. Known locally for being a casual relaxed salon providing up to the minute talented staff backed by years of experience and top of the range products.
